Celebrating Success: Salish Kootenai Housing Authority’s Nk̓ʷúwilš Solidarity Program
Salish Kootenai Housing Authority’s Nk̓ʷúwilš Solidarity Program
This month, we are thrilled to spotlight the Nk̓ʷúwilš solidarity program and their incredible achievement. Launched in early October 2024, with the ambitious goal of raising $24,000 by December 31, 2024, this fund is dedicated to supporting four tribal families in their journey toward homeownership – A vital step in creating stronger, more self-sufficient communities.
Nk̓ʷúwilš Solidarity has not only met but exceeded their fundraising goal! This success is a testament to the power of community and the unwavering commitment to improving housing opportunities for Native Families.
The solidarity Fund showcases the innovative and community-driven solutions emerging from tribal housing authorities across Montana. Funds raised through this initiative will directly help families overcome financial barriers, making safe and affordable housing a reality.
We encourage our lender partners to learn more about this impactful program and consider how you can contribute to its ongoing success. Supporting initiatives like the Nk̓ʷúwilš Solidarity program not only empower families but also strengthens the collective efforts toward Native homeownership in our state.
